Join our growing logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include a range of essential tasks such as receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility. We are committed to providing a safe and positive work environment for all our associates.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received goods into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment with care.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and other stock management tasks as needed.
- Engage in regular Lifting and movement of products, employing safe Lifting techniques.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain functions through effective task execution.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
