We are looking for energetic and dependable Warehouse Workers to join our bustling facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in our day-to-day logistics operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and a strong work ethic. You will be an essential part of a team dedicated to efficiency and accuracy in our warehouse environment. We prioritize a safe and productive workplace for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and safety procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all Lifting guidelines to prevent injury.
- Support the logistics flow by ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of all materials according to established logistics protocols.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
