Seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist for our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management procedures, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory control systems and logistics. - Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to ensure adequate inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Oversee the proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and WMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional lifting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, including adherence to PPE guidelines.
