We are seeking motivated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a range of tasks to ensure efficient and accurate handling of products. You will participate in order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping, as well as receiving and stocking inventory. We value individuals who are reliable, work well in a team, and maintain a high level of commitment to safety and quality. Experience in a distribution environment is beneficial, but a strong willingness to learn and contribute is most important. We provide all necessary training and expect adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Stage orders for outbound logistics.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Support various aspects of warehouse logistics as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
