We are hiring motivated individuals to join us as Picker/Packers at our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, forming a critical link in our logistics chain. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position demands attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or hand-held scanners.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages with shipping information and required documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and efficiency in a logistics environment.
