Our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage various warehouse operations. This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics processes, from inventory management to order fulfillment. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, supervising a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all safety standards are met. If you have leadership experience in a warehouse setting and a passion for optimizing operational performance, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety procedures and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and ensure efficient storage of goods.
- Oversee the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
