The Opportunity
We are seeking a hearing healthcare professional (Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist) to join our patient-focused and rapidly growing practice. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about the prevention and management of hearing loss and its related health effects, including its connection to cognitive decline and dementia. At our clinic, we take a medical-model approach to hearing care — combining comprehensive hearing assessments, personalized counselling, and best-in-class hearing technology to deliver measurable outcomes and exceptional patient satisfaction.
At Creekside Hearing, you'll be more than a dispenser — you'll be a trusted partner in your patients' long-term hearing and brain health journey. This role requires a unique blend of clinical excellence, patient care, and consultative sales ability, helping patients understand their hearing care options and empowering them to make confident, informed decisions about their hearing health.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation & Assessment
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tools and evidence-based testing protocols.
Assess communication needs and lifestyle factors to personalize care.
- Treatment Planning & Recommendation
Make strong, evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Educate patients and families on hearing loss, tinnitus, and cognitive impact.
- Fitting & Verification
Select, program, and fit hearing aids and assistive devices.
Verify prescriptive programming to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow-Up & Patient Care
Provide ongoing support through adjustments, troubleshooting, and counselling.
Ensure patients always leave with a clear next step in their care plan.
- Specialized Services
Perform earwax removal (certification required).
Conduct home visits for fittings, consultations, and follow-up care.
- Education & Engagement
Participate in community outreach and live educational events.
Stay current with new technology, industry trends, and best practices.
- Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and treatment documentation.
Qualifications
- Registered Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) or Audiologist in Ontario.
- Certification in earwax removal (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of hearing aid technology, testing, and fitting protocols.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for patient-centered care with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel for home visits.
- Previous experience in a similar clinical role is an asset.
- Strong team player with proven accountability and professionalism.
