Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at KINGSTON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting hospital cages safely and efficiently starting at midnight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in handling freight.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License for Straight Truck.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight handling.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
