Join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Material Handler! We are looking for a physically fit and reliable individual to assist with the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for supporting various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will be responsible for handling a variety of goods, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and put-away of inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any issues or defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
