We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving process, ensuring all incoming goods are accurately documented, inspected, and put away. Your attention to detail will be key to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting our overall logistics operations. You will work with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials into the warehouse. Maintaining a safe and organized receiving area is also a primary responsibility. This position offers a chance to be a cornerstone of our supply chain, ensuring that operations run smoothly from the moment goods arrive. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Verify packing slips and purchase orders against delivered items.
- Route received goods to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal staff.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
Requirements:
Previous experience in receiving or a similar warehouse role is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to perform tasks that may involve moderate Lifting. Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics. Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE guidelines. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential.
