Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment accurately.
- Pack orders securely and ensure proper labeling.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Must be able to perform significant lifting, up to 70 lbs.
- Strict adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must possess a strong commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
