We are searching for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team of warehouse staff, and ensure the efficient and safe handling of all incoming and outgoing inventory. Your leadership will directly impact our overall productivity and service levels. Key responsibilities include training and mentoring staff, optimizing workflow, enforcing safety regulations, and managing inventory control. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring all Logistics operations run smoothly. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to motivate teams are essential. You will champion our commitment to Safety , ensuring all staff utilize proper PPE and follow established procedures. This position requires the ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and make sound operational decisions. Regular oversight of tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) will be part of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage, train, and motivate warehouse personnel.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of Logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including oversight of operations involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comprehensive understanding of workplace Safety and PPE requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
