Join our thriving logistics team as an Order Picker in Austin, Texas! We are looking for motivated individuals who can accurately and efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified items, ensuring correct quantities are picked, and preparing them for shipment. This position is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and requires a good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, performing physical tasks, and adhering to all safety regulations. We provide all necessary training and PPE . Experience with RF scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus. Your role in our Logistics chain is vital. You will be expected to perform regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Locate items on warehouse shelves and in storage areas.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and the use of PPE .
- Basic understanding of Logistics and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
