We are seeking efficient and meticulous Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanner prompts.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they match order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with restocking picked locations as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to supervisors.
- Perform other packing and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists or use scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory concepts is helpful.
