Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse activities and key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and experience implementing safety programs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
