We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our busy logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods, and ensuring proper storage. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated storage areas.
- Verify the accuracy of received and shipped goods.
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Safety protocols.
- Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as directed.
- This role involves significant Lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
