Seeking a diligent Order Picker for our Denver, Colorado warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail to ensure that customers receive the correct products. You will be an essential part of our fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movement.
- Transport picked items to packing stations or staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking quotas and operational goals.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using scanning technology and basic computer systems.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to meeting performance standards.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented logistics environment.
