We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at our Miami, Florida facility. This leadership role is critical for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enforcing all company policies. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency in the logistics process.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
- Manage equipment and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
- Handle employee scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among the warehouse team.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA, and the importance of proper PPE usage.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks when necessary, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to operational excellence and a safe working environment is essential.
