Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center and the timely delivery of goods to our customers. We need individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work closely with a team to manage inventory, process orders accurately, and handle products with care. The ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is beneficial. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse shelves and storage areas.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including frequent lifting and moving of goods.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
  • Willingness to consistently use PPE.
