Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and distribute materials to appropriate departments or storage locations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain an organized and **safe** work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE** at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking procedures.
- Contribute to the efficiency of **logistics** by ensuring timely movement of materials.
- Perform regular **lifting** of items up to 50 lbs.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
- Report any **safety** hazards or operational issues immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or **logistics** environment preferred.
- Ability to perform **lifting** tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE**.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the shift.
