Join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia as a Warehouse Associate. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to support various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, and packing. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods to meet customer demands. You will contribute to a safe and productive environment while upholding our commitment to quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize products within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics principles is an advantage.
