Our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. This crucial role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize our logistics operations. Your sharp analytical skills and attention to detail are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Manage stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommend actions.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Utilize inventory management software and scanning technology effectively.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
- Monitor warehouse conditions to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and cycle count results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse logistics.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and scanning technology.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to PPE guidelines.
