We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our Logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this critical role, you will oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff, managing inventory levels, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Logistics best practices, and an unwavering commitment to Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and stock accuracy.
- Manage inbound and outbound Logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices.
- Maintain operational records and generate performance reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors and transportation partners.
- Ensure the facility and equipment are well-maintained and meet Safety standards.
- Address and resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Extensive knowledge of Logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Commitment to enforcing Safety protocols and ensuring proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
