Responsibilities:
- Handle the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Accurately sort and store incoming merchandise.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves and storage areas.
- Package products securely for safe transit.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all work areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with preparing goods for shipment and staging.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven ability to perform manual labor and handle physical demands.
- Capable of lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good spatial awareness and dexterity.
- Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety.
