Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory through meticulous tracking, auditing, and reconciliation processes. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal stock accuracy. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and cost control.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and product expiration dates.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., receiving, shipping) to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Develop and generate inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse Safety regulations.
  • Support the broader Logistics team by maintaining accurate product availability.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE when required in operational areas.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control best practices and Safety procedures.
