Roll-Off Truck Driver

The Roll-Off Truck Driver plays a key role in FLR's waste management operations by safely transporting and servicing roll-off bins while ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a motivated, safety-conscious professional who can operate equipment skillfully, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a clean, organized yard and shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment in compliance with company, local, and provincial regulations.
  • Complete daily dispatches for bin deliveries, pickups, relocations, and disposals while ensuring instructions are followed accurately.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth, professional service and timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain driver logs, and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Uphold company safety standards and the FLR Transport Safety Manual to protect team members, customers, and the public.
  • Assist with yard and shop maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and equipment upkeep.
  • Mentor new employees, model positive teamwork and professionalism, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
  • Anticipate daily operational needs to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid Class 3 (or higher) driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstract.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in completing paperwork and inspections.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work safely.
  • Strong customer service focus and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
