About the role:
As part of the Indirect Sales Team, the Sales Account Manager will play a pivotal role in developing our relationships with TPIs within Tier 2. Tier 2 TPIs work predominantly in the Supply Sales space with Drax, and this role will work to deepen engagement and conversion where a high number of tenders are anticipated.
Owning and developing relationships, the Sales Account Manager will deliver business plan gross margin targets across both New Business and Renewal opportunities.
Key accountabilities include:
- Support the delivery of DESL business plan through delivery TPI Supply Sales. This includes delivery of set gross margin target, with a focus on both New Business and renewal opportunity
- Expand our TPI network by building new relationships to increase flexible sales and opportunity, as well as expanding our offering to existing Fixed TPIs to allow the sales of flexible contracts
- Evolve our TPI relationships by gathering insight to identify and develop wider new business opportunities. Drive innovation and improvements to existing processes and solutions
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have…
- A proven track record in energy sales, ideally within flexible products, coupled with a reputation and network within the TPI/broker market
- You’ll able to demonstrate excellent influencing, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skill
- Strong management and awareness of pipeline opportunity
- You must be able to multi-task and prioritise balancing workload, working both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
- An innovative thinker, you’re able to constructively challenge and influence with an eye for continuous improvement
