MINDscapes LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate speech/language pathologist to join our clinical team. As a MINDscapes SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with children of all ages and backgrounds to help them overcome speech and language disorders and communication challenges.
Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and monitoring progress. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Speech/Language pathologist including competitive wages and benefits packages. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days at MINDscapes LLC.
*Wages.* Hourly rates are based on experience and level of education, ranging between $38-$48/hour.
*Benefits*. MINDscapes LLC is continually seeking cost-effective ways to support our employees. Employees must average a minimum of 32 hours per week during one month (2 payroll periods) to qualify for full-time benefits.
·*Medical/Dental/Vision*. We offer medical reimbursements. We reimburse full-time employees for (35% for individual and 45% for family) insurance policy premium and 50% of Vision and Dental policy. This amount will be added to your paycheck each payroll period upon evidence of an active policy.
· *Paid time off*. 10 personal/sick paid days off and 7 paid holidays.
· *Liability Insurance*. All employees are covered by our business liability insurance. However, if you are personally sued, our policy will not cover those additional expenses. As such, we require all licensed professionals to carry their own liability policy. _Licensed employees will need to provide a copy of your insurance declaration page as part of your employment paperwork_.
· *Resources*. We provide test kits, protocols, and online services to support your work. We also offer occasional professional development opportunities for our employees.
· *Technology*. FTEs may be issued iPads or tablets to use for work purposes.
The MINDscapes clinical speech-language therapists work in a private practice (in person), with assessments/treatments conducted in schools or in virtual settings. MINDscapes’ targeted client population includes children ages 2-17 years. The SLP must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, patience, and empathy to effectively work with children with disabilities and their families. Additionally, they must have a master's degree in speech-language pathology and be licensed by the state of Ohio. _Experience working with children on the Autism spectrum and writing IEPs is a PLUS, but not required for the person willing and easily trained!_
_Key responsibilities of a MINDscapes clinical speech-language therapist include:_
1. Conducting evaluations to assess patient's speech and language abilities.
2. Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
3. Providing therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills, such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
4. Working with individuals and groups to address areas of language deficits.
5. Teaching patients and their families proven techniques to improve communication abilities.
6. Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
7. Billing all assessments and treatment sessions in the insurance billing system.
8. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
9. Providing education and training to caregivers and other professionals on communication disorders and treatment strategies.
10. Keeping abreast of new research and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
11. Adhering to ethical and professional standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards.
12. Participating in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current on best practices.
