Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Seeking CSR to join our small but significant team.

About us: We are a single (but hopefully growing) Doctor practice that focuses on small animals (cats/dogs). We pride ourselves with offering compassionate, team-based, high quality health care. Work culture is extremely important to us, and we are looking for an exceptional individual, who also promotes a positive, supportive work environment. Our front desk receptionist (or Customer Service Representative) is our first impression to the public, and carries great responsibility representing the clinic.

Customer service experience (ideally in the veterinary field) is essential.

While we are looking for full-time CSR, we may be able to accommodate reduced hours or a part-time CSR, depending on availability and experience.

• Veterinary experience
• Front office/reception experience
• Experience with Avimark software

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks (scanning, attaching files, etc)
• Answering phones in a professional manner, and forwarding calls as necessary.
• Taking messages and screening incoming calls
• Maintaining confidentiality with medical records, and client information
• Helping unpack daily order
• Billing out clients
• Scheduling appointments
• Reaching out to clients about services due
• Communicating with medical team about appointments and scheduling
• Maintaining a clean and organized front of office
• Occasionally weigh patients
