The Role: Spirits Manager

As the Spirits Manager at our Emerald Hills location, you'll bring your expertise in spirits and people leadership to run a dynamic department, host tastings, and help shape one of Alberta's best selections of spirits. What You'll Do

• Lead and support a high-performing department team

• Deliver expert customer service and make personalized spirit recommendations

• Plan and host in-store tasting events

• Manage department inventory, ordering, and merchandising

• Monitor team scheduling and sales performance

• Keep the department organized, clean, and ready for business

• Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge

• Ensure compliance with Alberta liquor and workplace safety regulations

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in a spirits focused environment (retail, hospitality, or bar leadership)

• Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)

• ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong product knowledge in spirits (WSET 2, bartending, certifications, or similar is an asset)

• Great communication skills and a passion for customer service

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work evenings/weekends as needed
