We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this versatile role, you will contribute to various aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining a safe, organized environment. Your responsibilities may include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. This position is integral to our logistics chain, supporting the timely and accurate delivery of products to our clients. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and are committed to safety. You will be required to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Experience with warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is a plus, and training will be provided where necessary. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately.
- Stock and organize products on warehouse shelves.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
