We are looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that are essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities may include receiving incoming inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that products are processed and moved smoothly through the distribution center to reach their final destinations. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires adaptability and a strong work ethic. A commitment to safety is paramount; you will be trained on and expected to follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Physical stamina is necessary, as the role involves significant standing, walking, and potentially lifting items up to 50 lbs. Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not always required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any operational inefficiencies or safety hazards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
