We are seeking a diligent and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring that all goods are handled with care and precision, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our operations. Our company values safety above all else, and we expect all employees to adhere strictly to all safety protocols. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the warehouse floor. You will be trained on the specific safety procedures relevant to our facility. Daily tasks will involve inspecting equipment before and after use, performing routine maintenance checks, and reporting any defects promptly. Accurate record-keeping of inventory movements is also a key component of this role. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle substantial amounts of physical work, including Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management is beneficial. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement within our growing Logistics department.
