Job Summary:
We are recruiting an Order Picker for our Washington, D.C. distribution center. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment process, requiring accuracy and efficiency in retrieving items for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and picking specified products from warehouse shelves, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected. You will utilize a handheld scanner to track inventory and update order statuses. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work at a steady pace. This position demands a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds will be part of the daily tasks. A good understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this role.   • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
