We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders accurately and efficiently. This position involves navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items for shipment, utilizing a handheld scanner to track inventory and order progress. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of our fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will be expected to perform tasks that involve considerable lifting and physical exertion. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a warehouse management system and handheld scanner.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are picked and staged for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other related tasks as needed.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking accuracy and speed.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervision.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
