Our Sacramento, California distribution center is expanding, and we're hiring Picker/Packers! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and dispatched efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for transit. Attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications, using RF scanners or pick tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily shipping quotas.
- Follow all company Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics workflow.
- This position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent Lifting of boxes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capacity to work efficiently and meet performance targets.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform regular Lifting.
- Understanding of and adherence to Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
