Job Summary:
Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Austin, Texas! Our state-of-the-art distribution center requires experienced operators to manage the movement of goods efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and stand-up forklifts, to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to our overall logistics process, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to shipping. We expect all our operators to prioritize safety, utilize all required PPE, and follow strict operating procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely.
  • Stack and arrange merchandise in designated warehouse areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift operation.
  • Properly wear and utilize all required PPE, including safety vests and hard hats when necessary.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as picking and packing.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operation experience.
  • Proven experience with various forklift types.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics principles.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including the consistent use of PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
