We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our expanding logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring quality and efficiency in our fulfillment process. This role is vital for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be expected to work with RF scanners, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to all company Safety policies, including the correct use of PPE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physical tasks such as frequent Lifting, and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and gather products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated staging areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Report any order discrepancies or stock damage to supervisors immediately.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Capability to perform regular Lifting of products weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety protocols within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and navigate the warehouse efficiently.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential for smooth logistics operations.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
