Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced logistics team in Los Angeles, California, as a Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment goods arrive. Your responsibilities will include verifying invoices against received goods, inspecting for damages, and accurately documenting all incoming inventory. A meticulous approach and strong organizational skills are essential for success. You will work closely with inventory control and warehouse associates to ensure seamless integration of new stock. Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform lifting and manage incoming goods with care. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspect shipments for any damage or discrepancies.
  • Document all received items into the inventory management system.
  • Tag and label incoming products appropriately.
  • Stage received goods for put-away by warehouse staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and consistently use required PPE.
  • Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
  • Support other warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
