We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists, meticulously packaging products to ensure they arrive safely at their destination, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency to maintain our high standards in warehouse operations. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to manage inventory flow and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Scan items using a handheld scanner to track inventory.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Use appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety is essential.
