Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Scan items to ensure accuracy and update inventory records.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely and efficiently.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use provided PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
