Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related major. Five (5) or more years of relevant experience Post-Bachelors or Masters degree may substitute for relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Language Expertise: Highly Proficient in C, C++, Assembly Operating Systems Experience: VxWorks, Linux Tools: JIRA, Confluence, R4J Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall and Spiral Development Experience preferred Experience working in a highly regulated environment, i.e. aerospace, aviation, military or medical fields Familiarity with DO-178 or other high level-of-rigor development/test/verification environments: Applicable use of Statement, Decision, and MCDC Coverage analysis Other Desired Skills
Experience developing space flight software is desired Familiarity with Command and Telemetry and use of CCSDS for communication with space assets Experience with NASA - CFS framework Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams Understanding of additional industry-standard software languages such as C, C#, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build Experienced with data structures IMPORTANT NOTICE:
