We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this versatile role, you will be involved in numerous aspects of our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your responsibilities will span from receiving and unloading to picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This position is vital to our Logistics network, ensuring that products reach their destinations swiftly and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect inbound shipments.
- Sort and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare goods for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE .
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and operational workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
