We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate to contribute to the smooth operations of our facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This versatile role involves a range of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and committed to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. Your role will be essential in supporting our logistics chain and ensuring customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or orders on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Manage inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment by ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE for various tasks.
