We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse facility. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated racking or floor locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and actively participate in safety initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Responsible for lifting and moving items up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrable experience. Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Familiarity with inventory control systems is advantageous. Team player with good communication skills.
