Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Sacramento, California! As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is vital for our overall logistics efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, updating inventory records in our system, and assisting with stock organization. Meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of inventory management principles are essential for success in this role. You will work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize stockouts or overages. We are committed to a safe working environment and require adherence to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE . Responsibilities:
  • Perform cycle counts and full physical inventory counts accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated locations.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Generate inventory reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and identification.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and wear required PPE .
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics .
  • Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including some lifting up to 30 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE .
