We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in New York City, New York. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with other team members to maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment. Attention to detail is crucial for managing inventory and ensuring order accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and quality control.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including proper use of PPE .
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
