Are you a certified Reach Truck Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee? We are hiring skilled operators to manage our warehouse operations efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your proficiency in handling materials safely and effectively is key to our logistics success. This position requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload pallets from racking systems.
- Perform put-away and replenishment of inventory stock.
- Assist in order picking and preparing shipments as needed.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and system updates.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the reach truck.
- Ensure the work area remains clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability in operating material handling equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong knowledge of Safety regulations for forklift and reach truck operations.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
