Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing shipments.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and reporting.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to wear company-provided PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
