Join our dedicated warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to play a key role in our order fulfillment process. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your duties will include reading order tickets, locating and retrieving products from shelves, inspecting items for quality, and carefully packing them into appropriate containers. This position is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and timely order processing. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach to tasks within a dynamic warehouse setting. Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles is beneficial. Safety is a paramount concern; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE, is mandatory. This role involves regular physical activity, including significant lifting. Be a part of a team committed to excellence in logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply correct labels to all packages.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking or packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
